Interstate 15 in both directions: from after Exit 71 - Interstate 15 Business to before Exit 72 - Interstate 86 shoulder closed, bridge maintenance operations, width limit in effect, roadway reduced to one lane, road maintenance operations Width limit 11 ' 0 " — until July 19 Comment: WORK ON THIS PROJECT IS BEING DONE AT NIGHT BETWEEN 6:30 PM TO 7:00 AM. NOTE THAT WORK HOURS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED BY AN HOUR AND A HALF. The width restriction has been changed to 11 feet. Loads over 11 feet wide going southbound on I-15 must use Exit 72 to I-86 West to Exit 58, return to I-86 East and continue south at the I-15/I-86 interchange. This bridge and road maintenance operation project on I-15 at milepost 72 will repair the WYE bridges in Pocatello and Chubbuck. Traffic control devices will be removed by 7:00 am each morning. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures in both the north and southbound directions at the I-15/I-86 Interchange, as well as shoulder closures on the interchange ramps. The 11 foot width restriction is during night time hours of operation only. The entire WYE Bridges project is anticipated to be complete by mid July 2008. Motorists should use extreme caution around crews and equipment.

Interstate 15: from Exit 143 - State Highway 33 to Exit 180 - Spenser Road speed restrictions in force, roadway reduced to one lane because the road is being repaved on weekdays and Saturdays Comment: Repaving 24 miles of southbound lanes on I-15 from Dubois to Sage Junction and 13 miles of northbound lanes from Dubois to Spencer. Travel will be reduced to one lane in construction zones, and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph. Interstate on- and off-ramps will remain open. Work will take place on weekdays and occasionally on Saturdays. Drivers should anticipate changing driving conditions, such as merging traffic, construction vehicles, construction workers and uneven surfaces. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.

Expect 30 - minute delays., Speed limit 45 MPH daily Comment: Repaving 19 miles of U.S. 20 from the Bonneville County Line to the junction of U.S. 20-26, milepost 283 to 264, beginning at the junction. Motorists can expect 15- to 30-minute delays. Travel will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers directing eastbound and westbound traffic through the work zone. The speed limit in work areas will be reduced to 45 mph. Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., with some work possible on weekends. The project is scheduled for completion in August. Drivers should anticipate unusual driving conditions, such as merging traffic, construction vehicles, flaggers, pilot cars and uneven gravel surfaces.

Expect 15-minute delays. Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with flaggers directing traffic through on- and off-ramps. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph, and a width restriction of 12 feet will be in force for commercial vehicles. Work will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., with the project scheduled for completion in August. Drivers should be particularly careful when entering U.S. 20 from county roads and watch for trains at railroad crossings.

(Referring to the "Topaz" Bridge, east of McCammon.) This major widening project on US-30 from mileposts 365-370 began August 21, 2006 and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2008. A 16 foot width restriction is still in effect from mileposts 366 to 369. The speed limit has been reduced to 25 mph. Motorists should use caution around crews and equipment.

There will be no temporary facilities available and no access will be allowed. The next rest area eastbound is at Blacks Creek located at Milepost 62, east of Boise. Westbound travelers can use the Oregon rest area located just 1 mile from the Idaho/Oregon Border. The rest area is scheduled to be reopened in July 2008

I-84 Eastbound Off Ramp will be closed Monday night, June 30th at the Exit 29, Franklin Interchange. The closure will be from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. I-84 Eastbound lanes will remain open, but will be reduced to one lane during the ramp closure, from MP 28.7 to MP 29.2. Traffic wishing to use Exit 29 Eastbound will be detoured at Exit 28 and directed to Franklin Road from there.
